Synopsis[]
Introduction arc[]
Somewhere at an unknown river, Yansheng picks the body of a newborn baby out of the waters and comments how wicked drowning a baby is. As he inspects the body, he notices that the hand of the child is covered in blood with an extra finger having been mutilated. Just as he inspects the mutilated finger, the baby clenches her fingers. Frantically uncovering the child from the bundle of clothes it was wrapped in, he allows the baby to breathe and the newborn begins coughing and crying. Holding the child up in the air in amazement, he comments that the baby is a fighter like him and that he shall take her as his own granddaughter. He names her Chen Ating.[1]
